To make all handmade soap last longer, keep it dry between uses by storing it on a well-draining soap dish, away from direct shower spray, as well as utilizing a soap pouch or shower glove for natural exfoliation. Because handmade soap contains natural glycerin that attracts moisture, it requires a dry environment, such as a wooden or slotted dish, to prevent it from becoming soft.
